Jessica Torres-Sosa

Jessica Torres-Sosa is an experienced professional in nonprofit development and communications, currently serving as Grants Manager and Development & Digital Manager at Hand to Hold since October 2014. In this role, Jessica develops and implements fundraising strategies to support parents affected by preterm birth. Previously, Jessica held the position of Communications Manager at the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, where responsibilities included overseeing public relations and brand strategy. Prior experience also includes roles as Public Relations Specialist and Internal Development Coordinator at Lakeview Village, Inc. and Lakeview Village Foundation, respectively. Jessica's early career includes an internship with Coro Kansas City and participation in the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance as a NextGen Leader. Jessica earned a BA in Public Relations, International Studies, Music, and Nonprofit Leadership Studies from Kansas State University and pursued additional education at the University of Tampere.
