Jessica Levine is a Senior Associate at Handel Architects which she joined in 2014. Her work includes a variety of multifamily residential and mixed-use projects in the New York City metro area. Current work includes a two-tower multifamily residential project with almost 2,000 units on the waterfront in Jersey City. Also in Jersey City, Ms. Levine served as Project Architect for The Cottage, a 650-unit multifamily residential project for Oestreicher Properties. In White Plains, New York, she served in a similar capacity for Greystar’s 25 North Lex, which is currently under construction and will include 500 rental units when complete.
Prior to that, Ms. Levine managed the construction administration for Handel Architects’ adaptive reuse of Pier 57 on Manhattan’s West Side. Originally built in the 1950’s, the project was renovated to include office space for Google, retail space, performance venues and a rooftop park and esplanade. Ms. Levine took the project from the conceptual stages through construction administration, serving as the Project Designer.
Prior to joining Handel Architects, Ms. Levine worked at RAW Design in Toronto, where she worked on residential projects. Prior to that she worked at unit a architecture inc. in Toronto, where she focused primarily on renovation work.
Ms. Levine holds a Bachelor of Architectural Science from the Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and a Master of Architecture from Cornell University. She is a registered architect in New York.
