Christine Cruzvergara

Christine Cruzvergara is the Chief Education Strategy Officer at Handshake. Prior to joining Handshake, they served as the Associate Provost & Executive Director of Career Education at Wellesley College, Assistant Dean & Executive Director of University Career Services at George Mason University, and Chair of the Commission for Career Development at ACPA. Christine has also been a Directorate Board Member at ACPA Commission for Career Development.

Through their various leadership roles, they have helped hundreds of students transition into successful careers. Christine is a strong advocate for career education and has been recognized nationally for their work in this area.

Christine Cruzvergara's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Family Studies from James Madison University and a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland. Christine has also attended the NACE Management Leadership Institute.

They are on a team with Sara Rowghani - Chief Marketing Officer, Malthe Sigurdsson - Chief Design Officer, and Kamal Thakarsey - VP, Marketing. Christine Cruzvergara reports to Garrett Lord, Co-Founder & CEO.
