Sašo Matejina

Sašo Matejina is a seasoned engineering professional with significant experience in infrastructure management and cloud engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering, Infrastructure at Handshake since March 2023, Sašo leads the company's Cloud Engineering initiatives. Previous roles include Senior Engineering Manager of Infrastructure at DoorDash, where responsibilities included overseeing network architecture and cloud resource management, and at Checkr, where Sašo contributed to the company’s growth from 50 to over 300 employees. Sašo's expertise extends to building infrastructure at Coinbase and co-founding Blockr.io, which focused on Bitcoin transaction tracking. Sašo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Brooklyn College and education from the School of Mechanical Engineering in Postojna, Slovenia.
