Tracy Nielsen

Tracy Nielsen, MBA, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and resource development. Currently serving as Executive Director of HandsOn Twin Cities since August 2016, Nielsen provides strategic direction for the only full-service volunteer center in the Twin Cities. Previous roles include CEO of United Way of Kenosha County, where oversight of fiscal and operational strategies was key, and various positions at United Way of Racine County, including VP of Marketing and Resource Development. Nielsen's tenure in these organizations involved the development of multimillion-dollar annual fundraising campaigns, staff management, and enhancing community relationships. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Business Administration from Alverno College and a Bachelor’s in History from St. Cloud State University.
