Billy Cheng

Billy Cheng has a diverse work experience in the sustainable finance, corporate advisory, and sustainability sectors. Billy currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Sustainable Finance and Corporate Advisory at Hang Seng Bank since 2023. Prior to this, Billy worked at SGS as a Project Manager in Sustainability from January 2020 to July 2023. Billy also served as a Senior Project Officer in Technical Consultancy and Sustainability at SGS from August 2020 to December 2022. Before SGS, Billy worked as an Airport Planner at ADP Ingénierie from September 2018 to July 2020. Billy also held the position of Assistant Aviation Planner at Mott MacDonald from September 2016 to August 2018. Billy began their career at Arcadis, where they held multiple roles, including Assistant Consultant in Aviation and Business Advisory from May 2015 to August 2016, Graduate Aviation Consultant from August 2013 to April 2015, and Business Analyst in the Aviation Sector (Part-time) from July 2012 to July 2013.

Billy Cheng completed their Master of Science (MSc) in International Shipping and Transport Logistics at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Aviation Management from Coventry University in 2013. Additionally, they earned the certification of Chartered Member (CMILT) from The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport International in October 2018.
