William Leung

William Leung is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and legal advisory roles primarily within the financial sector. Currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Compliance at Hang Seng Bank since October 2025, William Leung is responsible for leading compliance initiatives in accordance with the Banking Ordinance. Prior to this role, William Leung held various leadership positions at HSBC from February 2008 to October 2025, including Deputy Head of Incentives for International Wealth and Premier Banking and Group Head of Regulatory Compliance for Digital Banking. William Leung's expertise spans global compliance frameworks, digital banking regulation, and advisory services across multiple markets in Asia. Education includes a Post Graduate Certificate of Laws from CityU School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Kingston University, alongside further studies at London Business School in 2023.
