Chief Technical Officer at Hanhaa

Matthew Travers has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Matthew started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Newcastle University, where they focused on reducing energy consumption of concurrently running programs on multi-core Linux operating systems. Following this, they worked at Frazer-Nash Consultancy as an Engineer, specializing in PCB design and embedded C programming using Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) on ARM Cortex-M based chips.

In 2019, Matthew joined Hanhaa as an Embedded Firmware Engineer, where they gained expertise in TI-RTOS on Texas Instruments BLE enabled devices for custom board designs. Matthew later moved up to the role of Chief Technical Officer at Hanhaa.

Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated strong technical skills, including schematic capture and layout using the Cadence Package Suite, as well as experience in high-speed communication design and supply chain verification. Matthew has also developed a runtime management script for allocating computational resources, resulting in significant energy savings.

Matthew Travers obtained their Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Newcastle University, where they attended from 2011 to 2016.
