Jay Kim

Jay Kim is an experienced banking professional with over 24 years in the industry, currently serving as EVP & Regional Chief Banking Officer at Hanmi Bank since August 2013. In this role, Jay oversees C&I Lending, CRE Lending, Project Finance, and credit training in the Eastern Region and Corporate Banking. Prior experience includes positions as SVP & Sr. Planning Officer and SVP & Manager at BBCN Bank, focusing on business planning and managing commercial lending units. Jay also held senior management roles at East West Bank and Nara Bank, managing commercial credit departments and corporate banking divisions. Jay holds an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from UC Irvine.
