Michael Du is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in risk management and internal audit across various financial institutions. As the SVP and Chief Risk Officer at Hanmi Bank since November 2019, Michael leads the Enterprise Risk Management Group, overseeing critical programs including Compliance Management, BSA Compliance, and Corporate Governance. Previous positions include VP, Director of Internal Audit at Pacific Western Bank and VP of Risk Management at UNIFY Financial Credit Union, where Michael demonstrated strong leadership and compliance expertise. Michael's military service in the US Air Force Reserve provided valuable leadership experience, advising on the welfare of over 620 reserve members.
