Yesenia Davila Quintanilla has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2015, they began working at San Diego State University, where they held positions as a Student Assistant at the College of Extended Studies from March 2015 to December 2017, an Office Assistant at the College of Extended Studies from January 2018 to August 2018, and a Spanish Teacher Associate from September 2018 to May 2020.

Yesenia also worked as an English Language Assistant at Colegio Lope de Vega from November 2020 to June 2021 and as a Graduate Teacher Assistant at Universidad de Alcalá from October 2019 to December 2019.

Yesenia then went on to attend San Diego State University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. In 2017, they participated in a Study Abroad program at Universidad Marista de Mérida. Continuing their education, Yesenia pursued a Master of Arts degree in Spanish at San Diego State University from 2018 to 2020. Most recently, from 2020 to 2021, they enrolled in Universidad de Alcalá to pursue a Master's degree in Bilingual and Multilingual Education.
