Tony Giampetruzzi

Tony Giampetruzzi serves as the Head of Internal Communications, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Engagement at Hannaford Supermarkets since January 2018, where Tony chairs the Hannaford DEI Council. Prior to this role, Tony held various positions at Delhaize America, including Head of Internal Communications and Engagement, as well as Director and Manager of Internal Communications and Brand, and was the founder of the FRIENDS (LGBTQA ERG) in 2015. Tony started a career at IDEXX as a Senior Business Partner in Employee Communications from January 2009 to May 2015. Academically, Tony obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Wheaton College Massachusetts and earned an Advanced Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University in 2021.
