Kate Beardsley

Kate Beardsley is a seasoned venture capital professional and entrepreneur currently serving as the Founding Partner of Hannah Grey since April 2020, a first check venture fund focused on customer-centric founders. With extensive experience in the venture capital space, Beardsley has held the position of Managing Partner at Upslope Ventures since March 2014, overseeing fund management and investment strategies. Prior to that, Beardsley was a founding member at Lerer Hippeau, where responsibilities included sourcing and managing a diverse portfolio of early-stage investments. Additional experience includes roles as Chief of Staff for prominent figures such as Kenneth Lerer at Huffington Post and Martha Stewart at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Beardsley's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Middlebury College.
