Saskia Hamers

Saskia Hamers is a dedicated research assistant currently employed at Hannover Medical School since July 2022, following a position at Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg from September 2021 to May 2022. Prior experience includes clinical neuropsychology at LWL-Klinik Gütersloh, where treatment was provided for patients with various neurological disorders and chronic pain. Educational achievements consist of a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Groningen and a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from Universität Osnabrück, along with studies in Psychology at the University of Bern. Currently, Saskia is pursuing a PhD in System Neuroscience at Tiermedizinische Hochschule Hannover. Additionally, previous roles include volunteer experiences in animal care in Costa Rica, child care in a school and orphanage, and other positions in hospitality and medication delivery.
