Debbie O'Hare

Debbie O'Hare is a seasoned executive in the insurance and reinsurance industry, currently serving as Managing Director at Hannover Re since January 2020. Previously, O'Hare held the position of CEO at Hannover Re (Ireland) DAC from September 2012 to December 2019 and was Managing Director at Hannover Life Reassurance (Ireland) Limited from 2004 until 2012. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer at London Reinsurance Group (1998-2004), Internal Audit Manager at Procter & Gamble Sweden (1996-1998), and Finance Manager at Swinton Insurance (1993-1996). O'Hare began a professional career in auditing with Touche Ross as Audit Senior (1988-1993). O'Hare's educational qualifications include a Chartered Director from the Institute of Directors, a degree in Next Level Insurance Innovation from the University of St.Gallen, Chartered Accountant certification from ICAEW, and a Mathematics degree from the University of Warwick.
