Eric Weyer

Eric Weyer has a diverse range of work experience. Eric started their career as a Research Associate at Germany Trade & Invest in 2012. In 2013, they interned as a Summer Intern at the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Eric then joined Hanover Research, where they held various roles and demonstrated significant growth. Eric began as a Research Analyst in 2016, responsible for designing and executing secondary and qualitative research projects. Eric received recognition for their contributions outside of their core role.

Progressing within the company, Eric became a Senior Research Associate in 2015 and a Content Director in 2018. Eric then served as a Research Director from 2018 to 2022, overseeing qualitative, secondary, and survey research work for a pool of clients. Eric consistently achieved high client renewal rates and received awards for their outstanding performance.

During their time as a Research Director, Eric took on additional responsibilities, including mentoring junior Directors and driving practice-wide innovation. Eric designed and implemented a more efficient training process for new analysts and developed a hybrid secondary/qualitative research solution to enhance client satisfaction.

In 2022, Eric briefly served as an Interim Client Engagement Director, managing a larger client base and successfully closing renewals and additional business opportunities.

Eric Weyer graduated Cum Laude from the University of Richmond in 2013 with a B.S.B.A. in International Business. Eric also attended Maastricht University in 2011, although no degree or field of study is specified. In 2021, Eric completed the Virginia Master Naturalist program at Virginia Cooperative Extension. Currently, Eric is working towards obtaining an Environmental Education Certification from the Virginia Association for Environmental Education, with an anticipated completion date between 2023 and 2027.
