Jacob Zimbodza

Jacob Zimbodza is an experienced forestry professional currently serving as the Forestry Manager at EcoPlanet Bamboo since November 2023, focusing on forestry operations and nursery management. Prior to this role, Zimbodza worked at Merensky Timber as a Plantation Manager from September 2021 to October 2023, and spent over a decade at Siyanqoba Forestry Solutions as a Forestry Manager from June 2010 to September 2021. Zimbodza began in the forestry sector at Border Timbers Limited, holding positions as a Senior Forester and Silviculture Forester from January 2004 to May 2010. Zimbodza holds a Master of Science in Forest Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Forest Engineering from Nelson Mandela University, along with a Higher National Diploma in Forestry from Zimbabwe College of Forestry.
