Helena Schollin has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Helena started their career as a Safety Coordinator at AstraZeneca R&D, where they were responsible for data entry, coding, and consolidation of reported adverse effects from clinical trials. Helena then transitioned to the role of Clinical Research Assistant, assisting in the planning, coordination, and delivery of clinical trials.
Helena later became a Clinical Research Manager at AstraZeneca, leading both early and large global clinical research trials in various therapeutic areas. Helena also led global improvement projects in clinical research, focusing on processes, tools, templates, and support systems.
In 2011, Helena joined Malmö University as a student, before moving on to Skånes universitetssjukhus (Skåne University Hospital) in 2014. At the hospital, they held several roles, including Head of Process and Project Office, Senior Project Manager, Business Developer, and Process Developer. In these positions, they were involved in line management, budgeting, portfolio management, resource planning, and business development. Helena Schollin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Malmö University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Pharmacy from Uppsala University from 1990 to 1992.
