Emma Nordahl

Emma Nordahl has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and fields. Emma started their career at Lund University Hospital as a Microbiologist, focusing on Chlamydia testing. Emma then moved on to Lund University, where they worked on research projects related to antibiotic resistance and antimicrobial peptides. Emma also pursued their PhD at Lund University, specializing in bacterial virulence factors and their interactions with human extracellular matrix. Emma later worked as an Assistant Researcher at Lund University, focusing on medical microbiology. Emma also had roles at loveisa, where they served as a Designer and later as the Founder and CEO. Emma was also a Deputy Board Member at Nykraft AB. Currently, Emma is working at Hansa Biopharma AB (publ) as a Senior Scientist, contributing to research and development.

Emma Nordahl has a strong educational background in the natural sciences. Emma began their academic journey in 1991 at Katedralskolan i Lund, where they pursued a natural science program until 1994. Following this, they enrolled at Lund University from 1994 to 2000 and obtained both a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Molecular biology. Building upon their previous achievements, Emma Nordahl pursued doctoral studies at Lund University from 2002 to 2009. During this period, they successfully completed their PhD in Medical Sciences.
