Jin Kim currently serves as the Head of Design Operation at HANSEL FROM BASEL, a position held since September 2022. With extensive experience in the fashion industry, Jin has worked as a Design Director in a freelance capacity from 2018 to May 2023, leading cross-functional teams in the development of seasonal concepts and designs. Previous roles include Senior Designer of Women’s Sportswear at Joe's Jeans Inc. from 2015 to 2018, where leadership oversaw a 10-member team through product development, and as Sr. Sweater Developer at Vince from 2011 to 2015, ensuring design integrity and execution. Jin also founded Common Thread Studio in 2009, a creative space and boutique, and held earlier positions as Design Director at Ya Ya Aflalo and Senior Knit Designer at GUESS?, Inc. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a Certificate in Project Management from UCLA Extension.
