Zak Steele

Zak Steele is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Principal Civil Engineer at Brown and Caldwell since June 2024. Previous roles include Civil Engineer positions at Hansen, Allen & Luce, Inc. and Stanley Consultants, as well as an engineering intern at Salt Lake County Engineering and Flood Control. Zak began a professional career in an administrative capacity at Mark H. Smith, Inc., where website design and maintenance were key responsibilities. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Vice President and Acting President for the Borders - U of U Chapter, organizing charitable service projects for the Navajo Nation. Zak holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah and an Associate Degree in General Studies from Salt Lake Community College.
