Maria Sacco has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Maria began their career in 1997 as a Provider Relations and Contracting Coordinator at SCHC TOTAL CARE, Inc., where they worked until 2007. Following this, they joined MVP Health Care as a QI-Clinical Reporting Coordinator, a role they held until 2012. In 2012, Maria joined HANYS and served as a Program Manager for eight years before being promoted to the role of Director, Quality Advocacy Research and Innovation in August 2020. In 2018, they briefly worked at Syracuse Community Health Center as the Director of Quality Improvement Performance. Maria's experience showcases their expertise in Quality Improvement, Performance Management, and Program Management.
Maria Sacco has an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse. Maria also holds the certification of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care - NBRC.
