Alvaro Acosta

Alvaro Acosta has extensive experience in the shipping and logistics industry, currently serving as the Regional Director of Operations - Terminal Partnering at Hapag-Lloyd AG since July 2006. Prior roles at Hapag-Lloyd AG include Director of Operations, Director of Business Administration, and Business System Manager. Before joining Hapag-Lloyd AG, Alvaro worked at CP Ships from August 1999 to June 2006 in various accounting roles, and at TMM from February 1997 to July 1999 as a marketing and cost analyst. Alvaro began a career in the industry as a trainee at Flota Mercante Grancolombiana in 1996. Alvaro holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
