Dr. Ireneusz Zalewski

Dr. Ireneusz Zalewski serves as the IT Director of Business Administration and Collaboration and Senior Director of IT Products at Hapag-Lloyd AG since December 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Advisor at Executive Advisory and Consulting Services and holding leadership roles at Lufthansa Systems Poland from November 2004 to September 2018, including Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Executive Officer and President of the Board, with responsibilities spanning business development, P&L management, and operational quality. Earlier in the career, Dr. Zalewski worked at OptiX Polska (PROKOM Group) as Marketing and Development Director, progressing to Director of Customer Services. Dr. Zalewski holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Business/Corporate Management from Universität Innsbruck and a Master of Science in Foreign Trade/Marketing from both the University of Konstanz and the University of Gdansk.
