Homaira Jafari-Kammann

Homaira Jafari-Kammann serves as the Senior Manager Claims P&I & Inhouse Counsel at Hapag-Lloyd AG since October 2010, focusing on claims and casualty management, contract review and design, and providing in-house legal advice on liability and insurance-related topics. Jafari-Kammann also mentors legal trainees within the organization. Prior experience includes roles as Manager Claims P&I and Claims Lawyer Marine Cargo at HDI-Gerling Industrie Versicherung AG, as well as a legal trainee at HDI-Gerling America Insurance Company Chicago. Academic qualifications include a 1.Staatsexamen from Leibniz Universität Hannover and a 2.Staatsexamen from OLG Celle, along with a Master of Arts in Philosophy from FernUniversität in Hagen.
