Paul Carlquist has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Paul began their career in 2011 as a Field Assistant at New Wave Lacrosse, where they coached youth lacrosse players and managed teams. In 2014, they became a Resident Assistant at Trine University, overseeing college residents and organizing community building programs.
Paul then ventured into the biomedical engineering field, working as a Biomedical Engineer Intern at Advocate Health Care in 2015, where they calibrated and maintained medical equipment. Paul continued their biomedical engineering journey at Theoris Services from 2016 to 2017, designing surgical cutting guides using CAD software.
In 2017, Paul joined DePuy Synthes Companies as a TruMatch Technician (Designer), responsible for creating custom surgical plans and modeling patient-specific instruments for total knee replacement procedures. Paul also acted as a technical communicator with surgeons and sales representatives.
From 2019 to 2023, Paul worked at Incipio Devices as a Development Engineer, contributing to the development of innovative products. Currently, they are employed at HAPPE Spine as a Product Development Engineer.
Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated strong technical skills, collaborative teamwork, and a passion for improving patient outcomes in the medical field.
