Christopher Kolston has a diverse range of work experience in various roles. Christopher began their career at McDonald's as a Crew Trainer from May 2011 to February 2014. Christopher then worked as a Delivery Driver at Deliveroo from February 2016 to June 2016. Following that, Christopher worked as a Quality Assurance Officer at Franchise Support Ltd from August 2016 to March 2017. Christopher also served as a Customer Service Representative at Mighty Ape Limited from November 2013 to June 2017. Christopher then transitioned into the technical field and worked as a Technical Specialist at Vocus Communications from August 2017 to January 2018.
In 2018, they joined Vodafone New Zealand as a Discover Graduate, where they underwent three 6-month corporate rotations, focusing on business product, reporting, database, analytics, and customer experience design. From April 2019 to July 2021, they held the position of a Customer Experience Designer at Vodafone New Zealand, where they utilized human-centered design and facilitated design thinking workshops.
Christopher worked at ANZ as a Design Researcher from July 2021 to June 2022, supporting product teams in delivering new and improving existing digital features. Christopher then joined Radical Path as a Senior Experience Researcher from September 2022 to May 2023, where they led and delivered UX and strategic research projects for clients.
Currently, Christopher is a Senior Product/UX Researcher at Happening, starting in June 2023.
Christopher Kolston completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Management and Information Systems from the University of Auckland, between the years 2014 and 2017. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the Project Management Essentials L4 certification from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority in October 2019.
