Roger Lipscombe

Roger Lipscombe has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Roger is currently working as a Software Engineer at Happening since October 2022. Previously, Roger served as a Technical Lead for IoT at Twilio Inc. from December 2019 to March 2022. Roger also held the position of Server Software Architect & Core Cloud Services Team Lead at Electric Imp for over six years, starting in August 2013 until December 2019. Before that, Roger worked as a Software Architect at Trayport from April 2010 to August 2013. Prior to that, they were a Senior Developer at 1E for over five years, leading the development of AppClarity and contributing to other products. Roger also served as a Principal Software Architect at snopilot, where they were responsible for software development related to mountain activities. Earlier in their career, Roger worked as a Senior Programmer at SonicBlue, Empeg Ltd, and Mercator/Braid Systems, and as a Programmer at Aspect Communications.

Roger Lipscombe attended St. Lawrence College in Ramsgate from 1984 to 1994. However, no specific degree or field of study is indicated for this period. Roger then went on to study Computer Science at the University of Warwick from 1994 to 1997, earning a BSc degree.
