Stjepan Matijašević

Stjepan Matijašević has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Stjepan is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Happening since May 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Copper.co from December 2022 to May 2023. Stjepan also worked as a Technical Program Manager at Axilis from January 2022 to February 2023. Stjepan has experience as a Solution Architect at BISS d.o.o. from January 2021 to January 2022, and as an IT Consultant at Smartson from 2019 to January 2021. Before that, they worked as a Technical Team Lead & Project Manager at Instantor Technology Services Ltd. from November 2015 to May 2019. Stjepan held positions of increasing responsibility in the applications support division at HBOR - Hrvatska banka za obnovu i razvitak, serving as the Head of application support from May 2014 to November 2015, and as the Coordinator of the information development process from June 2012 to May 2014. Stjepan also has experience as a Project Manager and Team Leader at Helix from February 2010 to June 2012, and as a Project Manager at Beta Tau Beta from September 2007 to February 2010. Additionally, they have served as the Secretary of the Croatian Java User Association (HUJAK) since January 2012.

Stjepan Matijašević completed their education history at two institutions. From 1993 to 1997, they attended Poštansko telekomunikacijska and obtained a degree in SSS with a specialization in telecommunications. Later, from 1997 to 2004, they studied at the University of Zagreb (Sveučilište u Zagrebu) and earned the degree of Dipl. Ing. in the field of FER.

In addition to their academic education, Stjepan Matijašević also acquired several certifications. These include being an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) obtained from Amazon in August 2017, a Certified ScrumMaster certified by Scrum Alliance in June 2016, and IPMA Level D: Certified Project Management Associate certified by IPMA in June 2014. Stjepan also holds the ITIL v3 Foundation certification obtained in May 2013. Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications from IBM, such as IBM Certified Advanced Application Developer Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0, IBM Certified Application Developer Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0, IBM Certified Associate Developer Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0, IBM Certified SOA Solution Designer [2007], and IBM Certified Solution Developer Web Services Development for WebSphere Application Server V6.1. Additionally, Stjepan Matijašević holds the certification of Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 and Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 5.0.
