Victor Rincon

Victor Rincon has extensive experience in the IT industry, spanning over 20 years. Victor began their career in 2002 with an internship at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. In 2006, they worked as a Software Developer at Productive Business Systems AB.

In 2008, Victor started their own entrepreneurship, Firma Victor Rincón, where they built tailored IT solutions for local customers on the Åland Islands. Victor served as the Owner and Developer until December 2016.

From February 2013 to January 2014, Victor worked as the Head of Development at Quedro AB, responsible for managing the development team and overseeing the creation of software solutions for the real estate domain. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Developer and later as a Technical Project Manager at Quedro AB.

Victor joined Paf - Play among friends in January 2014 and worked as a Software Developer, specializing in full-stack development with a focus on enterprise Java, Oracle, AngularJS, and Protractor. From October 2016 to September 2017, they served as a Senior QA Engineer at the same company, ensuring high-quality product delivery, with a focus on test automation and DevOps.

In September 2017, Victor joined F-Secure Corporation as a Senior Full Stack Developer, where they played a crucial role in helping customers manage the security of their large-scale device pools. Victor utilized Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, AngularJS, Jenkins, and AWS Cloudformation to build and deliver secure solutions.

From April 2019 to July 2021, Victor worked at Paf - Games Sport Casino as a Senior Software Engineer & QA. Their responsibilities included ensuring compliance with legislation in different countries, setting up reporting solutions using AWS cloud services, and utilizing various technologies such as Kafka, Spring Boot, and Postgres.

In August 2021, Victor joined SOK as a QA Lead, working on S-Kaupat's food e-commerce platform for groceries shopping.

Currently, Victor holds the position of Head of Quality Engineering at Happeo since May 2022, ensuring high-quality standards for the organization. From April 2023, they will assume the role of Head of Quality and Enablement Engineering.

Victor Rincon has a diverse education history. Victor pursued a Bachelor degree in Information Technologies from Åland University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2007. Prior to this, they studied Bachelor in Computer Science, specializing in Ingeniería Técnica en Informática de Gestión, at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2000 to 2011. Victor also holds a High School Diploma from Santa Gema Galgani, which they obtained from 1987 to 1998.

In terms of additional certifications, Victor earned a certification in "PHP 7 New Features" from LinkedIn in August 2017.
