Peter Fornell has over 30 years of experience in product development and engineering. Peter began their career in 1988 as a Design Engineer at Code-A-Phone, where they designed consumer and business telecommunication high volume end-user equipment. In 1989, they moved to Mentor Graphics as an Engineering Manager. In 1997, they joined Meridian Wireless as Director of Engineering, where they were responsible for all engineering disciplines and transferring products from design into manufacturing. That same year they also joined Cadence Design Systems as Senior Business Manager, Wireless Communications and started their first full product design center focused on wireless products. In 2000, they became Senior Vice President, Product Development at IXI Mobile, Inc., where they were responsible for their end-to-end product offering. In 2009, they joined Barnes & Noble as Director, Hardware Program Management, where they developed the hardware for an e-book reader in less than 9 months. In 2010, they joined Cisco as Director, Engineering and was responsible for the development of Cisco's Small and Medium Business Cloud-based TelePresence endpoint software and hardware platform. In 2014, they became Vice President Product Development at August Home, Inc., where they were responsible for the hardware development of the August smart lock and IOT devices. In 2016, they joined Happiest Baby (the maker of SNOO) as EVP, Product Development and R&D, where they are responsible for Product Development for things to come.
Peter Fornell's education history consists of three schools. Peter obtained their MBA in Marketing from the University of Gothenburg between 1985 and 1987. Peter then pursued Business Administration at Marylhurst University between 1991 and 1993. Lastly, they obtained their EE in Telecommunications from Polhem School of Technology between 1980 and 1984.
