Pushpinder Sawanni has worked in a variety of roles since 1994. Pushpinder began their career at Philips Consumer Communication as an Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for the development and manufacturing of AMPS, GSM, and IS-136 based standards Cell-Phones. In 1998, they moved to Tality Design Services/Cadence Design as the Wireless Business Unit Manager. Pushpinder then joined Cygnus Therapeutics Systems in 2001 as the Director of Wireless Systems, where they developed the GlucoWatch, a non-invasive glucose monitoring device. From 2002 to 2004, they worked at Microlinear and Verifone as a Manager of Applications/Technical Marketing and Senior Project Manager, respectively. Pushpinder then held the position of Engineering Manager at Barnes & Noble and Manager Engineering at Cisco from 2009 to 2010. In 2014, they became the Director of HW Program at August Home, Inc., where they were responsible for developing the August Smart Lock, Smart Door Bell, and Key Pad. Since 2018, they have been the Director of Manufacturing, Worldwide Compliance & Quality at Happiest Baby, Inc.
Pushpinder Sawanni received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Microwave and RF Engineering from the University of Portsmouth between 1984 and 1986. Prior to that, they obtained a B.sc degree with Hon's in Electronic Engineering from City, University of London between 1980 and 1984.
