David Bailey has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In that year, they began working as a Supervisor for Kilwins Chocolates Franchise, Inc. In 2015, they began working at Eastern Michigan University as both a Camps and Conferences Assistant and an Office Assistant. In 2017, they started working as a Server for Bona Sera Restaurant. In 2018, they took on a role as a QC Scientist for Ash Stevens LLC, a subsidiary of Piramal Pharma Solutions. In 2019, they began working as a Line Cook for Gadabout Restaurant and as a Facilitator for the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. In 2021, they began working as a Customer Service Specialist for The Plantier and as a Support Virtual Lab Manager for HappiLabs. In these roles, they have assisted scientists with their purchasing, tracking of orders, shipping issues, and invoicing, helped customers with transactions, provided customers with information about specific plants, gave care instructions, and gave recommendations, maintained the inventory of hundreds of plants, and more.
David Bailey obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Anthropology from Eastern Michigan University in 2017, having started their studies in 2013.
