Dennis van de Ven has over 16 years of experience in the digital marketing industry. Dennis is currently serving as the Managing Director for the online marketing division of Happy Horizon, where they are responsible for the company's online marketing operations and also works as a Senior Account Strategist focusing on e-commerce. Prior to this, Dennis was the Managing Director at PauwR Digital Marketing before it merged with Happy Horizon. Dennis held various roles at PauwR, including Operations Director, Senior Account Strategist, and Head of Performance, where they led teams and developed strategies for performance-based accounts across diverse industries. Before entering the digital marketing field, Dennis worked as a part-time Online Marketer at PauwR and completed internships at KFC Turnhout and Sportinstituut OOMS. Dennis obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Sport, Economie en Communicatie (Commerciële Economie) from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, Dennis completed their VWO (pre-university education) with a focus on Economics and Society at 2College Cobbenhagen, graduating in 2005.

After their undergraduate studies, Dennis pursued a Master of Science degree in Marketing Management at Tilburg University from 2008 to 2011. These academic achievements have provided him with a strong foundation in marketing principles and management.

In addition to their formal education, Dennis has also obtained several certifications that demonstrate their expertise in the digital marketing field. In 2008, they became a Google AdWords Qualified Individual, and in 2010, they earned the Google Analytics Individual Qualification. In 2014, they completed the Advanced adCore University training provided by adCore | Podium Advertising Technologies LTD. Dennis continued to expand their knowledge and skills by obtaining the Google Shopping Qualified Individual certification in 2015.

Furthermore, Dennis has sought professional development through various training programs. In 2016, they became a Senior Marketing Professional (SMP) certified by the NIMA (Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing). Dennis further enhanced their leadership skills by completing the 5-day training program "Leidinggeven in de .comwereld" offered by De nieuwe Spelerij in 2018. The same year, they also achieved the Senior Digital Professional (SDP) certification from NIMA.
