Kelsey Pian

Kelsey Pian has a diverse work experience. Kelsey is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at Happy Returns by PayPal since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Alphataraxia Management LP as an Investment Analyst from August 2019 to June 2021. Before that, they were a Lead Course Assistant at Stanford University for the entirety of 2018. In 2017, they gained experience as an Applied Science Intern at Walt Disney Imagineering, where they managed technical aspects of attraction installation and investigated methods for structural improvement. In 2016, they had two roles, one as an Engineering Intern at Doosan Fuel Cell America, Inc., where they improved cost efficiency and tested electrode materials, and another as an ENGR 40M Teaching Assistant at Stanford University, where they taught lab sessions and held office hours. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at Wang Lab, focusing on magnetic nanotechnologies and cellular imaging. Finally, in 2014, they were a Research Assistant at Walbot Lab, studying early anther development in maize.

Kelsey Pian attended Pittsford Mendon High School from 2009 to 2013. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering at Stanford University from 2013 to 2017. Kelsey then furthered their education at Stanford by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering from 2017 to 2018.
