Matt Kandler

Matt Kandler is a skilled software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in technology and product design. Currently employed at Runhouse as a Software Engineer since November 2023, Matt also founded HappyFeed in August 2016, which focuses on positive psychology and personal journaling. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Human NYC from January 2017 to November 2023, UI Designer & Developer at PERTS, and Developer at Layerframe. As co-founder and Product Designer of Quixplore, Matt played a key role in developing a location-based platform. Early career experiences include a Young Entrepreneur Program at Foundation Capital, Research Assistant roles at Panasonic with Stanford University and Bucknell University, and a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Amprius Inc. Matt holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University.
