Shelly Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Shelly currently holds the role of Vice President Strategic Partnerships at Happyly, where they are responsible for promoting work-life balance and developing meaningful connections among employees through shared experiences and activities. Prior to this, Shelly served as VP of Strategic Marketing at EDGE Workplace, a start-up venture that was successfully acquired. During their time at EDGE, they repositioned product capabilities, resulting in $5 million in sales pipeline and facilitated the growth of the company through their product marketing leadership. Before joining EDGE, Shelly worked at PFM for several years, where they held various positions including VP of Strategic Marketing & Development. Shelly generated $25 million in revenue through multichannel direct marketing programs and implemented numerous product service offerings and call-to-action strategies. Shelly also played a pivotal role in the development of annual and long-term strategic planning for the organization and successfully launched a nurture marketing program that increased engagement and revenue while reducing costs. Additionally, they created an internal messaging portal to ensure organizational alignment with global product messaging and guidelines. Earlier in their career, Shelly served as a Marketing Manager at PFM Ashburn, where they managed donor cultivation initiatives and handled all facets of valuable donor cultivation strategies. Shelly also managed a $12-million development budget for wide-ranging cultivation activities. Prior to this, Shelly worked as an Account Executive at Tetra creative/West & Associates for over a decade.

Shelly Smith obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a focus on Marketing and Communications from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1987 to 1991.
