Dr Nitin Malekar

Dr Nitin Malekar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dr Nitin started their career as a Senior Sales Executive at Criticare Laboratories from 1992 to 1994. Dr Nitin then worked as an Executive Director at IJCP Group of Publications from 1994 to 2007. Following this, they held the position of Vice President at Adfactors PR from 2008 to 2013, where they were responsible for new business development in the healthcare and pharma sector. Dr Nitin then worked as the Director at Nitin Malekar Consultancy Services from 2013 to 2015. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Head of PR at MediaMedic Communications, where they focused on healthcare brand building and reputation management. Dr Nitin then joined Reliance and served as the Leader of Healthcare in Corporate Communications from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, Dr Nitin Malekar served as the President of Marketing & Communications (India) at POC Medical Systems Inc., an American organization specializing in disease diagnostic technology. Dr Nitin subsequently became the Director of Gargi Genetics Pvt. Ltd., an agri-social business venture in the food security space, where they worked from 2018 to 2022. Most recently, Dr Nitin Malekar assumed the role of Executive Director at IJCP Group in 2022. Dr Nitin is currently serving as the Director of Harae Dx Corp. in India.

Dr Nitin Malekar completed their Bachelor's degree in Life Science at Kirti M Doongersee College. Dr Nitin then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Genetics & Cell Biology from Mumbai University Mumbai. Following this, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research from CREMA in 2005-2006. Dr Malekar furthered their education by completing a program in Executive Management with a focus on Strategy & Planning at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2007-2008.

In 2009-2012, Dr Malekar attended the International University Of Contemporary Studies in California, USA, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Genetics & Human Behavior with a specialization in Leadership Traits. Additionally, in 2011 they completed a short program in Organizational Leadership at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Dr Nitin Malekar also holds a certification in Event Management which they obtained in April 2004 from the EMDI Institute of Media and Communication.
