Shane R. Powers

Shane R. Powers is an experienced professional in the arts and education sectors, currently serving as the Registrar for Harbin School of Healing Arts since July 2012. Prior to this role, Shane worked as a Workshop Instructor and Digital & Traditional Photo Lab Technician at the Harvey Milk Photo Center from March 2009 to March 2014, teaching various photography workshops. Shane held the position of Student Relations Manager at Meritus College Fund from August 2005 to June 2011 and volunteered at Red Poppy Art House between 2007 and 2009. Shane earned an M.F.A. in Photography from the Academy of Art University, where enrollment occurred from 2005 to 2009, and also holds a B.A. in Music from Northwest Nazarene University, completed in 1992.
