Shiva Farashahi

Shiva Farashahi began their work experience in 2020 at the Simons Foundation as a Flatiron Research Fellow. They held this role until June 2022. In June 2022, Shiva joined Harbinger Health as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, and they are currently still in this position.

Shiva Farashahi obtained a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from Dartmouth College between the years 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tehran, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Their undergraduate education took place at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, where they completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from 2007 to 2011. However, no specific field of study was mentioned for any of their degrees.
