Garrett Tietz

Garrett Tietz is a Functional Safety Manager at Harbinger with previous experience as a Functional Safety Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where Garrett led the implementation of the ISO 26262 Automotive Safety Standard for steering systems in North America. Garrett also worked as a Product Design Engineer & Product Safety Manager at Melfred Borzall, designing premium construction equipment, and as a Part Time Lecturer at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, teaching product design with CAD. Garrett holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Mechatronics Concentration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
