Bernd Burkhart

Bernd Burkhart is a seasoned professional in the field of embedded software engineering, currently serving as the Functional Safety Manager at Preh Group since August 2010. Previous roles at Preh Group include Team Leader of Software Development, overseeing various software teams and managing projects in embedded software areas such as eMob and HMI. Prior to this, Bernd Burkhart was the owner and managing director of besd-it GmbH, focusing on automotive sector clients from June 1995 to December 2013, and worked as an Embedded Software Developer at VDO Deutschland from February 1992 to May 1995. Bernd Burkhart holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Technology from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and completed an apprenticeship as an Information Electronics Technician at Werner-von-Siemens-Schule Frankfurt.
