Michael Fricke has a strong background in mechanical engineering, particularly in the field of automotive solenoid actuators. Michael began their career as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern at HUSCO International in 2013, where they gained experience in developing mechanical systems for hydraulic test stations. Michael then joined HUSCO International as a Project Engineer in 2014, where they led a team in designing, testing, and manufacturing solenoid actuators for automotive use. During their time at HUSCO, they received business awards for high-volume products, implemented design improvements to reduce cost and enhance performance, and filed a patent for a innovative method of reducing copper content in solenoids. Michael also worked directly with OEM/Tier 1 customers and suppliers to ensure designs met specifications and feasibility. From 2018 to 2019, they served as a Design Release Engineer - Thermal Management at Faraday Future, and from 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Design Release Engineer - HV Battery at Canoo. Currently, Michael holds the position of HV Battery Pack Mechanical Engineer at Harbinger starting in 2022.
From 2010 to 2014, Michael Fricke attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
