Mel Garza

Mel Garza, PMP®, currently serves as Senior Human Resources Project Manager at Harbor Freight Tools, overseeing key HR projects and initiatives to support organizational growth. Previously, Mel held various leadership positions at Abercrombie & Fitch Co., culminating as Senior Communication & Collaboration Leader, and achieved notable successes such as managing top-performing stores, reducing shrink considerably, and delivering exceptional customer service ratings. In addition to retail management, Mel worked as a Yoga Instructor across several fitness organizations and contributed to community engagement as a GIVE Yoga Ambassador. Mel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising & Consumer Journalism from the University of Georgia.
