Emily Rasmussen

Emily Rasmussen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Emily began their career at the Office of the District Attorney in Bucks County, NE Philadelphia as a Certified Legal Intern from 2009 to 2010. Emily then joined Philadelphia VIP as a LawWorks - Civil Practice Associate from 2010 to 2011. Emily's next role was as a Regulatory Compliance Analyst at Academy Securities in 2011. Emily transitioned to Five Mile Capital in 2012, where they served as a Closing Manager - Commercial Real Estate Finance until 2016. During this time, they designed and managed the fund's closing and post-closing process, with expertise in commercial real estate insurance and CMBS rating agency standards. From 2016 to 2018, Emily worked at Harbor Group Consulting LLC as a Director - Operations & GSE Lending Platform, responsible for operations and the lending platform. Emily then advanced to the role of Managing Director - Operations & Business Strategy from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Emily holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Harbor Group Consulting LLC, where they oversee operations, staff, business development, and market partnerships. Emily leads a team of over 100 expert consultants and attorneys, positioning Harbor as the premiere insurance risk advisor to the nation's top investment banks, equity funds, commercial banking institutions, and non-bank lenders.

Emily Rasmussen completed their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Michigan State University between 2005 and 2009. Emily then pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law from 2009 to 2012.
