Dan Moran

Dan Moran is a seasoned freelance senior colourist with extensive experience in the film and video industry. Currently operating Dan Moran Colour since January 2018, Dan provides services in features, drama, commercials, and music videos out of a Baselight HDR grading studio in Bristol, UK, while also working as a senior colourist at Harbor Picture Company since August 2022. Dan co-founded Mixing Light LLC, serving as a managing partner from December 2012 to December 2021, and has held senior colourist positions at Coffee and TV and Smoke & Mirrors, specializing in grading music videos, commercials, and films. Earlier experience includes roles at Blackmagic Design as a DaVinci Resolve application specialist, focusing on software development and demonstrations, and at Element Post Production as an online editor and colourist for various media formats. Dan is proficient in Baselight and DaVinci Resolve, with foundational education from Dundalk Institute of Technology.
