Jon Francis has over 20 years of experience in health, safety, and facilities management. Jon began their career at Oyster Yachts in February 2000 and held the position of Health, Safety & Facilities Manager for over 20 years. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day management of the health and safety of a busy yacht building company with 160 employees. Jon also oversaw the 60’000sq ft of unique manufacturing facilities, implementing and overseeing various building modification and facility improvement projects.
In March 2020, Jon Francis left Oyster Yachts to take on the role of EHS & Quality Manager at Harbor Technologies. In this new role, they are responsible for the health and safety of Harbor Technologies’ employees as well as the quality of the company’s products and services. Jon Francis is a highly experienced and skilled health, safety, and facilities manager who is dedicated to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all those under their care.
Jon Francis has an educational background in carpentry and joinery, health and safety, and risk assessment. Jon also has certification in SMSTS, NGC Occupational Health & Safety, and Supervising Health & Saferty.
Their manager is Ron Allison, Director, Engineering & EHS. Jon Francis works with Paul Dumoulin - Senior Project Engineer, Greg Stewart - EHS & Quality Manager.
