The Public Health and Medicine team at the Harborview Injury Prevention & Research Center (HIPRC) works collaboratively to address and mitigate injury and violence through research, public health initiatives, and medical expertise. Comprised of professionals from diverse fields including emergency medicine, psychiatry, anesthesiology, and public health coordination, the team utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to develop strategies for injury prevention, health equity, and proactive community engagement. Their work aims to translate research findings into actionable public policies and medical practices that reduce injury and improve public health across all age groups.
