Jane Whiting

Jane Whiting is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in counseling, coaching, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Placemaking and Employability Officer at Harbour since December 2013, Jane focuses on building community voice and supporting tenants and individuals in North Edinburgh with upskilling and employment opportunities. Prior to this role, Jane volunteered as a Counsellor at PF Counselling and provided phone-based counseling and coaching at PPC Worldwide. Jane also has a background in fundraising from a previous position at Advance Housing, where strategic fundraising plans were developed. Jane holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of East London, a Master’s Degree in Cultural Studies from the University of West London, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of East Anglia.
