Victor Chen

Victor Chen has a strong background in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Victor is currently serving as the Head of Early Development at HARBOUR BIOMED since May 2019. Prior to that, they were the Site Head for Pharmaceutical R&D Early Development at Covance China and Asia Pacific from 2016 to May 2019. Victor also worked as a Senior Research Fellow at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2011 to 2016 and as an Associate Director at Ablynx from 2009 to 2011. Before that, they held positions as Director at ImClone Systems, Sr Principal Scientist at Pfizer, and Sr. Research Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb. Victor began their career as an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center in 1997.

Victor Chen completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the University of California, Riverside, from 1989 to 1994. After that, they worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) from 1994 to 1996. Additionally, in January 2022, they obtained the DABT certification from the American Board of Toxicology, Inc.
